Weighted Dip

The weighted dip is variation of the dip that is performed with increased weight. Weight can be added via a weight belt, placing a dumbbell between one's feet, or other method.

Instructions

How to perform a Weighted Dip:

Attach additional weight via your preferred method. Grasp the dip bars with the palms of your hands facing your body.

  • Raise your body up so that your arms are fully extended. Your legs should be bent at the knee behind you.

  • Bend your elbows out lowering your body down so that your chest is almost even with the dip bars.

  • Extend your arms fully once again to raise yourself back up to <2/position 2>.
