The dip is a body weight exercise that develops strength and stability in the triceps and chest. This exercise requires a dip machine, parallel bars, or two other bars slightly wider than shoulder width apart.
How to perform a Dip:
Grasp the dip bars with the palms of your hands facing your body.
Raise your body up so that your arms are fully extended. Your legs should be bent at the knee behind you.
Bend your elbows out lowering your body down so that your chest is almost even with the dip bars.
Extend your arms fully once again to raise yourself back up to position 2.
