V Up

The V up is modified version of the sit up that involves lifting both halves of the body simultaneously.

Instructions

How to perform a V Up:

Lie flat on your back on the floor with your legs completely straight, arms stretched over your head.
  • Lie flat on your back on the floor with your legs completely straight, arms stretched over your head.

    Lie flat on your back on the floor with your legs completely straight, arms stretched over your head.

  • Lift your upper body off the floor at the same time you lift your legs straight off the floor.

    Lift your upper body off the floor at the same time you lift your legs straight off the floor.

  • Touch your feet with your hands.

    Touch your feet with your hands.

  • Return your upper body and legs back to the floor to <1/position 1>.

    Return your upper body and legs back to the floor to position 1.
