Swimming is an aerobic activity that works almost the entire whole body.
How to perform a Swim:
Lie face down in the water with the head turned to one side for breath.
Stretch one arm out in front of your head, slicing the hand through the water, thumb first. At the same time, keep knees slightly bent as you kick your legs up and down.
Continue slicing through the water in circular fashion, pushing each hand towards the same side foot as it cycles around. Focus on keeping your body straight, not allowing one's arm to cross over the body's middle line.
Repeat steps while continuing to kick. Turn head to one side to breathe as needed.
