The incline sit up is a more advanced version of the sit up. Like the sit up, it is a compound exercise that targets the abdominals.
How to perform a Incline Sit Up:
Lie flat on your back on the incline bench with your feet hooked underneath the foot pads.
Place your hands behind your head one on top of the other.
Lift your upper body off the bench by contracting your abdominal muscles.
Continue lifting your upper body until you are sitting straight up.
Lower yourself down so you are back in position 2.
