Triceps Extension

The triceps extension is a triceps isolation exercise.

Instructions

How to perform a Triceps Extension:

Sit straight up. Grasp a dumbbell in an overhand grip and raise your arms straight up so that the weight is right above your head. Your elbows should be facing forward.
  • Sit straight up. Grasp a dumbbell in an overhand grip and raise your arms straight up so that the weight is right above your head. Your elbows should be facing forward.

    Sit straight up. Grasp a dumbbell in an overhand grip and raise your arms straight up so that the weight is right above your head. Your elbows should be facing forward.

  • Bend your arm at the elbow, lowering the weight behind your head.

    Bend your arm at the elbow, lowering the weight behind your head.

  • Continue to lower until your arms are completely bent.

    Continue to lower until your arms are completely bent.

  • Straighten your arms back up to <1/position 1>.

    Straighten your arms back up to position 1.
