The straight leg deadlift is a variation of the deadlift that focuses more on strengthening the hamstrings and buttocks muscles.
How to perform a Straight Leg Deadlift:
Stand with your feet hip width apart with feet angled slightly outwards. It may be useful to stand on an adjustable block or platform.
Bend at the waist, keeping your legs straight. Grip the barbell using an overhand or alternating grip.

Extend your hips to lift the weight off the ground.
Continue to straighten your body until your hips are completely extended.
Bend forward again, keeping your legs straight, to return to position 2.
