The knees to elbows exercise targets the abdominal and back muscles.

Instructions

How to perform a Knees to Elbows:

Grasp a pull up bar with an overhand grip with your arms slightly wider than shoulder width apart. Hang straight down from the bar.
  • Grasp a pull up bar with an overhand grip with your arms slightly wider than shoulder width apart. Hang straight down from the bar.

    Grasp a pull up bar with an overhand grip with your arms slightly wider than shoulder width apart. Hang straight down from the bar.

  • Bend your knees up as you bend at the waist and raise your hips. At the same time, push your upper body away from the bar and lean back.

    Bend your knees up as you bend at the waist and raise your hips. At the same time, push your upper body away from the bar and lean back.

  • Continue to raise your knees until they touch your elbows. Your torso should now be parallel to the ground.

    Continue to raise your knees until they touch your elbows. Your torso should now be parallel to the ground.

  • Lower your legs back down and bring your body up as you fully extend.

    Lower your legs back down and bring your body up as you fully extend.

  • Return to <1/position 1>.

    Return to position 1.
