The crunch is an isometric exercise that isolates the abdominal muscles.

Instructions

How to perform a Crunch:

Lie flat on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Cross your arms across your chest.

  • Contract your abdominal muscles, lifting your upper body off the floor.

  • Lower your body back down to the floor, keeping your abdominal muscles contracted for a controlled descent.
