Wrist Curl

The wrist curl is a forearm isolation exercise. This exercise is most commonly done with a barbell but can also be done with dumbbells.

Instructions

How to perform a Wrist Curl:

Sit on a bench with your forearms laying on the top of your thighs. The palms of your hands should be facing up. Hold a barbell in the palm of your hands with an underhand grip. Bend your wrists back so that the barbell is resting on your fingers.

  • Flex your wrists up as far as the can go, curling the weight up.

    Flex your wrists up as far as the can go, curling the weight up.

  • Bend your wrists back down to <1/position 1>.

    Bend your wrists back down to position 1.
