Leg Press

The leg press is a weight training exercise that targets the quadriceps. It requires a press machine or weight sled.

Instructions

How to perform a Leg Press:

Position yourself flush against the back of the bench. Your hands should be on the side grips.

  • Place feet flat against the weight platform.

  • Bend your knees into you chest to lower the weight down until your legs are just past a 90 degree angle.

  • Extend your legs, pushing the weight back up.
